Kids slept at G-ma's house last night so after a large meal and a few drinks, I gained a few pounds.   Ran 5 this afternoon at 8:18 / mile and felt really good.  Ran the last 1/8 of a mile or so pretty slow as a cool down.  Think I could have gone faster but just enjoyed the run.  Actually was back to about 214 pounds after the run so pretty happy about the whole day/run.   Trying to convince myself that going out doesn't affect my training.
